VENIAL
Banda formada em Cuiabá-MT, no final de 2004 por ex-integrantes de bandas como
Extremunção, S.A.M / Chawk Shayra (Campo Grande - MS), Insane, Dross e Redraft .
A formação inicial, Fábbio, Fabrício Roder e Dandy se desfez logo após o retorno
de Dandy (Guitarra) a São Paulo - SP, sua terra de origem, deixando a
responsabilidade das 6 cordas para Ankh, que entrou na banda demonstrando muita
competência e dando novos rumos a Venial. Logo após Fabio Hordi assumiu o contra
baixo. No ano de 2007, Barbosa (Voz/HC) e Fábio Hordi (baixo) deixam a banda.
Cavalo San (Baixo) entra para a Venial colocando ainda mais peso e agressividade
ao som da banda. Em 2009 Icaro Rezende juntou-se à banda, como guitarrista e por
último, mas não menos importante, Alan Servio entrou na banda em 2010 como
baterista.
Venial: de Perdoável; pecado leve que não faz perder a graça divina,
é o oposto de pecado mortal. Os pecados veniais eram cometidos nos séculos
passados, assim definidos por não levarem ao inferno - eram considerados pecados
leves, perdoáveis. Para quem viveu em uma época de forte inquisição era a forma
encontrada para não perder a graça divina através de abusos ou descontroles
materiais.
Band formed in Cuiabá-MT, in the end of 2004 composed by former-integrants of
bands as Extremunção, S.A.M / Chawk Shayra (Campo Grande - MS), Insane, Dross e
Redraft. The initial formation, Fábbio, Fabrício Roder and Dandy was soon undid
after Dandy’s returns to São Paulo - SP, his land of origin, leaving the
responsibility of the 06 strings for Ankh, that joined in the band demonstrating
ability and giving new routes to Venial. Straightaway Fabio Hordi assumed the
bass. In 2007, Barbosa (Voz/HC) and Fábio Hordi (bass) left the group. Cavalo
San (Bass) joined Venial giving more weight and aggressiveness to the band’s
sound. Icaro Rezende has joined the band in 2009, as guitar player an at last,
but not at least, the drummer Alan Servio enters the band in 2010.
Venial: from Excusable; light sin that does not make losing the divine grace, is
the opposite of mortal sin. The venial sins were committed in the last
centuries, thus defined for not leading straight to hell – instead they were
considered light and excusable sins. For those who lived at a time of strong
inquisition it was the way found to not lose the divine grace through material
abuses or losing control.
